TRADITIONAL GROUND BURIAL
For those who prefer ground burial, we have a large selection of choice locations available throughout the cemetery grounds. From the single grave to the largest family plot, the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery can accommodate your wishes.
Due to the increasing popularity of cremations, and because of the ease of costs compared to traditional burial, we offer Cremation Graves located throughout the Cemetery at an affordable price. Cremation Graves can accommodate up to two cremated remains and can be memorialized with a flush bronze memorial for an additional charge.
LAWN CRYPT GARDEN
Our Lawn Crypt Garden overlooking the scenic Hudson River, offers the appeal of mausoleum entombment, the beauty of a garden and ease of access-all at an affordable price.
Financial consideration is often the deciding factor in burial decisions. The Lawn Crypt Garden option includes the cost of a lot, crypt and memorial all in one price.
Each single and double lawn crypt includes a 16” x 24”bronze memorial with or without a flower vase, installed at ground level.
COMMUNITY CHAPEL MAUSOLEUM

Now featuring five buildings, our stately Mausoleum overlooks the Hudson River, enhancing our beautiful cemetery grounds. Our Mausoleum features single, companion and family crypts featuring both indoor and outdoor locations. With the convenience of two chapels located within our Mausoleum buildings, and elevator service, Crypt and Niche owners can take advantage of the convenience, privacy and reprieve from the elements year-round.
If your choice is cremation, our Mausoleum Buildings feature interior marble-front and glass frontas well as exterior niches. Niche Banks are located throughout the Mausoleum complex offering choice locations to best suit your preferences.
Mausoleum visitation is available every day of the year from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., providing a beautiful and inspirational environment for remembrance and contemplation in a tranquil setting.
