Here at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, the safety of our customers and employees is of our utmost concern. As we continue to navigate through the latest information regarding COVID-19, we will continue to serve those in need of our services.
Based on guidelines from the CDC, New York State, and Dutchess County, we are still currently allowing funeral services with a limited number of relatives & friends in attendance (no more then twenty to comply with Executive Order No. 2 of 2020 which declared a Local State of Emergency in the County of Dutchess)
We strongly encourage the practice of social distancing. Most importantly, we ask that anyone with potential health concerns remains at home.
As the COVID-19 situation continues to develop and new information is released, we will keep you informed as to what is happening in the cemetery.
